The Worcester State Chorale took part in a 9 day performance tour of Portugal from May 18 to May 26, 2009. The Chorale stayed in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, and visited cities such as Evora, Sintra, Estoril, Setubal, and Palmela. During their time there they visited such landmarks as Praca do Comercio, Belem Tower, Monastery of Jeronimos, Evora Cathedral, and the Palmela Castle, as well as walked among picturesque landscapes and beaches. There was also three scheduled Chorale performances.
